Description

Giselle will be performed at the brand-new Steinmetz Hall at the Dr. Phillips Center this Valentine’s Day weekend. Orlando Ballet will dance to live music conducted by Kansas City Ballet’s Musical Director Romona Pansegrau and performed by the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra.

The embodiment of romantic ballet, this touching tale of unrequited love, remorse, and forgiveness seamlessly combines music, movement, and drama. Giselle tells the story of a peasant girl whose ghost appears after her premature death to protect her beloved from a group of evil spirits. Orlando Ballet’s production will capture the mystery and eerie beauty of this exquisite full-length ballet.
