This event is weather-permitting: THE KISSIMMEE BALLOON FESTIVAL HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED FROM APRIL 2-4th, 2021 TO JUNE 11-13th, 2021

Due to forecasted high winds on the 2nd to 4th April, the Balloon Glow Tour and Osceola Heritage Park have taken the proactive decision to reschedule the Kissimmee Balloon Glow which had been scheduled for the Easter weekend.

The new dates are June 11th – 13th 2021.

All tickets purchased will now be valid on the corresponding day of the week on the new dates (Friday, Saturday or Sunday – based on what you originally purchased).

If you cannot attend the new event dates, tickets can be transferred to other Balloon Glow Tour events or use your tickets at events in 2022.

Should neither of these options work for you, you are able to email tickets@easyeventsgroup.com and request a refund despite the stated no refund policy.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this decision.

Hot air balloons are typically unable to inflate in winds greater than 7mph or tether in winds greater than 6mph. The forecast for this weekend during event hours is at least double the maximum permitted wind conditions.

While it is typical that an event will take place “rain or shine”, the hot air balloons only inflate in safe and suitable conditions. Given that there is zero chance of seeing hot air balloons this weekend, this is why we have taken the extraordinary decision to reschedule the entire event.

Event Director Richard Garvie:

“At balloon events around the country, it can be common to lose one day to poor weather, but to lose all three is uncommon and our view is that if we know we cannot inflate the balloons all weekend, we cannot in good faith open the doors to the public who are expecting to see hot air balloons.”

We appreciate your patience on this matter, and we are excited to have another opportunity to see the balloons in June.
