Florida-native Southern Rock legends, Molly Hatchet return to Clearwater for their Bilheimer Capitol Theatre debut! 2021 marks the 50th anniversary of Molly Hatchet and Bobby Ingram continues to carry on the legacy started by Dave Hlubek. They are best known for their guitar filled hits like “Flirtin’ with Disaster”, “Dreams I’ll Never See”, “ Whiskey Man”, “Gator Country” and more.
In 1978, Epic released Molly Hatchet’s self-titled debut album which reached multi-platinum status. “Flirtin’ with Disaster” was released in 1979 and skyrocketed the band into the stratosphere. “Flirtin with Disaster” also achieved multi-platinum status.
The band’s current lineup consists of 30-year plus member Bobby Ingram – lead guitar; Jimmy Elkins – lead vocals; John Galvin – keyboards; Tim Lindsey – bass guitar; and Shawn Beamer – drums. Molly Hatchet is still workin’ hard, playin’ tough, livin’ fast, and still Flirtin’ with Disaster!!!
Tickets are $35, $55, and $65. Private Loge Box for four is $260.
Performance is at the Bilheimer Capitol Theatre, 405 Cleveland St, Downtown Clearwater.
