Description

Pick your three favorite genres of music. Put them in a blender. Add some horns. Toss on a thin layer of satire, and you’re well on your way to understanding the Oklahoma Stackhouse approach to music. Established in 2011, Oklahoma Stackhouse is an Orlando, FL based band blurring the lines between blues, reggae, rock, ska, jazz, and funk. To date, the band has released two full length albums: “Jah Won’t Let Me Live at Outback Steakhouse” in 2013, followed by “Bird Dog Blues” in 2015. After focusing on live shows for several years, the group released two new songs in 2018 as part of the “St. Pete Singles” and are currently in the process of tracking their third full length album to be released in late 2020. The band continues to perform extensively across the great state of Florida and beyond. In addition to numerous local shows and events, this past year has seen the band play venues ranging all the way from the Orlando House of Blues to nationally acclaimed music festival Suwannee Hulaween. The band’s unique style and high energy culminate in live shows that anyone and everyone can enjoy, so no matter what your ears may crave, Oklahoma Stackhouse invites you to join them on their journey of challenging the musical norm.
